发展中国家道路网络数据库中往往缺乏关于路面材质类型的信息，尽管这代表了高效交通系统设计的基石。本研究开发了一种自动化路面分类管线，用于卫星图像识别路段是铺装路面还是未铺装路面。该方法基于对象导向方法，对每条路路段在 RGB 空间中像素分布进行分类。该方法被证明既准确又经济，且可轻易复制到其他城市。
