摘要

受保护健康信息(PHI)和可识别个人信息(PII)的去识别(deID)是共享医学图像、特别是通过公共数据仓库以确保符合患者隐私法律的基本要求。此外,保留非 PHI 元数据以 Inform and enable 下游开发医学人工智能(AI)也是医学生物研究中重要的考虑因素。MIDI-B 挑战的目标是提供一个标准化平台,用于基于符合 HIPAA Safe Harbor 法规、DICOM Attribute Confidentiality Profiles 以及 The Cancer Imaging Archive(TCIA)所定义的最佳实践进行去识别 DICOM 图像工具的基准测试。该挑战采用大规模、多样化、跨中心和跨模态的真实去识别放射学图像数据集,并插入合成 PHI/PII。MIDI-B 挑战分为三个阶段:训练、验证和测试。80 位注册者参与了该挑战。在训练阶段,我们鼓励参赛者使用其自有的或公共数据来调整算法。在验证和测试阶段采用包含合成标识符的 DICOM 图像(分别为 216 和 322 名受试者)。十支队伍成功完成了该挑战的测试阶段。为衡量基于规则的图像去识别方法的成功程度,计算正确操作的百分比占总必需操作数的比例。得分范围为 97.91% 至 99.93%。参赛者采用多种开源和专有工具,配合自定义配置,大语言模型和光学字符识别(OCR)。本文提供了关于 MIDI-B 挑战设计、实施、结果及经验教训的综合报告。
