悬浮液中磁性颗粒的偶极强度通过基于反朗之万函数的磁化曲线图形校正获得。该方法给出颗粒分布的算术平均和调和平均。与将磁化曲线拟合到某种适当数学模型的方法相比，它具有一个优势：不依赖于假设颗粒的特定分布函数。
