BESS在1 GeV以下低能反质子探测效率的测量

摘要
利用低能反质子束进行了一项加速器实验,以测量气球载超导螺线管谱仪BESS的反质子探测效率。测量效率与基于GEANT/GHEISHA的BESS蒙特卡罗模拟计算值吻合良好。通过对BESS模拟的详细验证,由BESS模拟得出的探测效率相对系统误差被确定为±5%,而此前估计为±15%,后者曾是宇宙射线反质子通量测量的主要不确定性来源。
