摘要

通用反粒子谱仪(GAPS)是一项即将开展的气球任务,旨在在至少三次约 35 天的南极飞行中测量低能宇宙线反核。凭借其大几何接受度和基于奇异原子的新型粒子鉴别,GAPS 每次飞行将探测约 500 个宇宙反质子,并在大气顶部约 0.07-0.21 GeV/n 的动能范围内产生精确宇宙反质子能谱。凭借这些扩展到比以往任何实验都更低能量且统计量大增的数据,以及与传统的磁谱仪相比互补的实验不确定性来源,GAPS 反质子测量将对暗物质、原初黑洞和宇宙线传播敏感。该反质子测量还将验证 GAPS 用于反氘核和反氦稀有事件搜索的反核鉴别技术。本分析利用完整的仪器模拟和事件重建,并包含太阳和大气效应,展示了 GAPS 对宇宙线反质子的灵敏度。
