研究了通过记录氪中的闪烁，使用液体闪烁谱仪（LSS）测量 85Kr 活度的可能性。研究发现，在氪的分压低于大气压时，氪闪烁体的转换效率为 3 keV/光子，比液体闪烁体的转换效率低 20 倍。由氪中闪烁引起的脉冲幅度，与 85Kr 贝塔粒子作用下在样品瓶壁中产生的切伦科夫辐射的脉冲幅度大致相等。
