我们研究一种拟阵复杂性的处理方法，该方法通过基集子集族（如独立集、基、回路或其他子集族）的列表来描述一个拟阵。在此方案下，算法问题的计算复杂性似乎高度依赖于输入类型的选择。我们定义了一种关于各种描述方法的序，并展示该序如何作用于十种输入类型。我们还表明，在此方法下，拟阵的若干自然算法问题在被认为不等于 P 的类中是完备的。
