18颗演化恒星周围分子辐射的成图

摘要
我们展示了18颗演化恒星(14颗渐近巨星分支星、一颗超巨星、两颗原行星状星云和一颗行星状星云)周围分子辐射在20角秒分辨率下的成图结果，主要是在12CO(3-2)谱线中。几乎所有分子包层在此分辨率下都至少是勉强可分辨的。相当一部分分子包层显示出明显的偏离球对称性，表现为椭圆或双极包层。这表明在当前的恒星演化晚期阶段(特别是在渐近巨星分支上)的情景中，有必要引入非球对称的质量损失。
