我们报告了对MACHO项目5年银河盘微镜事件数据的初步分析,事件来源为团木巨星。这类事件允许获得稳健的结论,因为相对明亮的团木星不受混合效应的影响。我们讨论:1) 选择'巨型'事件,2) 事件持续时间分布,3) 事件持续时间和光学深度在MACHO 104场(以 (l,b) = (3.1, -3.0) 为中心)的异常特征。我们报告在(l,b) = (3.9, -3.8) 处的初步平均光学深度为(2.0 ± 0.4) x 10^{-6}(内部),并绘制了光学深度空间分布图。当从样本中移除104场后,光学深度降至(1.4 ± 0.3) x 10^{-6},这与红外基于的中央银河区域模型高度一致。
