由快速中子损伤产生的低能声子突发

摘要

固态无热声子热力学计量器用于低质量暗物质或协同中子-核子相互作用的搜寻长期观测到数百 eV 以下的事件数显著超出预期。fast cosmic ray neutrons与探测器相互作用造成的损伤放松,曾被提议为此类超标事件的来源。我们通过比较暴露于中子的探测器与对照探测器,报告了首次测量由fast中子损伤引起的声子突发。辐射探测器与对照探测器在谱型、热历史依赖性以及观察到的谱率按中子暴露量缩放之间存在差异,表明我们观察到的低能(excited)背景并非主要来自中子损伤引起的声子突发。
