摘要
本文描述了一种定位印度手写文档中可能构成日期字段的所有区域的方法。我们研究了各种手写文档中日期字段的空间模式，并通过统计分析开发了一种算法，以识别那些可能构成日期的连通分量集。考虑到印度通用的日期模式，我们将日期格式分类为不同的类别。报告的结果展示了所提出方法的优异性能。
