来自 PROSPECT 反应堆反中微子实验的对亚 GeV 暗物质的限制

摘要

若暗物质质量低于约 1 GeV,其在许多直接探测实验中将不会传递足够能量以引起可探测的核反冲。然而,若暗物质通过与宇宙射线碰撞被向上散射至高能,则可能在直接探测实验和中微子实验中均可被探测。我们报告了使用 PROSPECT 反应堆反中微子实验对宇宙射线向上散射的增强暗物质进行的专项搜寻结果。我们表明此类向上散射暗物质通量会呈现特征性的昼夜恒星时调制,并据此对具有大相互作用截面的亚 GeV 暗物质给出了新的实验限制。
