轻胶子与 alpha_s 的跑动

摘要
处于 12--16 GeV 质量范围内的胶子与轻（2--5.5 GeV）底夸克相结合，正如近期为解释 b 夸克强子产生的超出所提出的那样，将会影响强耦合常数 alpha_s 的动量标度依赖性（“跑动”），使其在 M_Z 处的值升高约 0.014 +/- 0.001。如果将低质量标度（m_b）和高质量标度（M_Z）处的不确定性来源相结合，人们只能在略高于 2 sigma 的水平上区分这种效应。讨论了改善这一状况的前景，包括更好的格点 QCD 模拟和 M_Z 处更精确的测量。
