我们通过将静态能量短距离部分的微扰计算与格点计算进行比较，获得了量子色动力学中强耦合常数 alpha_s 的测定值。我们的结果为 alpha_s(1.5GeV)=0.326±0.019，当演化至 M_Z 标度（Z 玻色子质量）时，对应于 alpha_s(M_Z)=0.1156^{+0.0021}_{-0.0022}。
