LHS 1815b:TESS 发现的首颗厚盘行星

摘要

我们报告在 TESS 巡天中探测到的首颗厚盘行星 LHS 1815b(TOI-704b,TIC 260004324)的发现。LHS 1815b 凌一颗明亮(V = 12.19 mag,K = 7.99 mag)且宁静的 M 型矮星,该恒星距离 29.87±0.02pc29.87\pm0.02 pc,质量为 0.502±0.015M0.502\pm0.015 M_{\odot},半径为 0.501±0.030R0.501\pm0.030 R_{\odot}。我们通过结合空间与地面测光、光谱与成像验证了该行星。该行星半径为 1.088±0.064R1.088\pm 0.064 R_{\oplus},质量 3σ3 \sigma 上限为 8.7M8.7 M_{\oplus}。我们分析了宿主恒星 LHS1815 的银河系运动学与轨道,发现其位于厚盘的概率很大(Pthick/Pthin=6482P_{thick}/P_{thin} = 6482),且其预期最大银面高度(Zmax=1.8kpcZ_{max} = 1.8 kpc)远高于其他 TESS 行星宿主恒星。未来利用例如即将升空的詹姆斯·韦伯空间望远镜(JWST)对此类系统中行星的内部结构与大气性质的研究,可探究不同银河系组分(厚盘、薄盘与晕)间行星系统的形成效率与演化差异。
