TESS 交出首颗地球大小行星与一颗温暖亚海王星

摘要

系外行星科学的未来是光明的,TESS 再次以其迄今确认的周期最长行星的发现证明了这一点。我们在此呈现 HD 21749b(TOI 186.01),一颗绕明亮(V = 8.1)邻近(16 pc)K4.5 矮星在 36 天轨道上运行的亚海王星。TESS 测得 HD 21749b 为 2.610.16+0.17^{+0.17}_{-0.16} RR_{\oplus},结合档案与后续精密径向速度数据将该行星质量定为 22.71.9+2.222.7^{+2.2}_{-1.9} MM_{\oplus}。HD 21749b 有助于 TESS 一级科学要求,即提供 50 颗小于 4 RR_{\oplus} 且质量已测的凌星行星。此外,我们报道了 HD 21749c(TOI 186.02)的发现,这是 TESS 的首颗地球大小(Rp=0.8920.058+0.064RR_p = 0.892^{+0.064}_{-0.058} R_{\oplus})行星。HD 21749 系统是多行星系统中行星组成与架构比较研究的绝佳目标。
