LAr1-ND:在费米实验室利用多个液氩时间投影室探测器测试中微子反常现象

摘要

本白皮书描述了 LAr1-ND 及其在第一阶段乃至整个 LAr1 计划中所带来的极具吸引力的物理研究内容。此外,LAr1-ND 是迈向大规模液氩时间投影室(LArTPC)探测器发展的关键一步。其发展目标将包括测试现有及可能的创新设计以服务于长基线中微子实验(LBNE),同时为致力于 LBNE 的团队提供一个训练基地,将及时的中微子物理研究与探测器开发经验相结合。
