摘要
长基线中微子设施(LBNF)为中微子物理提供了前所未有的强度。我们讨论一项提议,即在近址增设一台高分辨率磁化探测器,以增强费米实验室的LBNF物理项目。该探测器主要基于复用现有的超导磁体与电磁量能器,并补充新的低密度 straw tube 径迹探测器。我们还讨论了所提议设计对于长基线振荡分析以及(反)中微子相互作用精密测量的物理机会。
