本研究考察了一种基于人的知识留存方法，该方法在一个低技术环境中通过各种知识共享渠道演变而来，并高度重视松散耦合的跨组织政府-产业合作中的社会网络，该合作聚焦于区域可持续性。通过结合社会网络分析与访谈和观察分析，我们的结果表明，紧密的社区纽带与群体互动的结合促进了强大的个人网络的发展，这些网络提供了对群体记忆的持续访问，从而留存了群体的知识。
