年轻恒星对象的IRAC颜色

摘要
我们将理论模型中预测的原恒星包围层和原行星盘的红外颜色与使用Spitzer Space Telescope IRAC相机(Werner等2004, Fazio等2004)对年轻恒星对象所做的初始观测进行比较。以前研究中找到的吸积率和/或坠落率的盘和包围层模型可定量解释四个年轻嵌入星团(S 140, S 171, NGC 7129, Cep C)中所观察到的IRAC颜色范围。IRAC颜色-颜色图([3.6]-[4.5] vs. [5.8]-[8.0])可用于区分仅具盘辐射的年轻恒星与拥有周转星系包围层的 protostars。
