最大熵原理(MEP)是一种可用于在概率函数集合中推断未知量取值的方法。在本工作中，我们回顾了 MEP 的两个应用：一个给出了 Higgs 玻色子质量值的精确推断；另一个允许推断轴子的质量。特别地，对于轴子，我们假设它除衰变为两个光子外，还具有衰变为中微子对的衰变通道。随后构建与初始轴子群衰变为光子和中微子相关的 Shannon 熵以进行最大化。
