存在本底下估计信号的改进概率方法

摘要
提出一种改进 Feldman Cousins 在本底存在下估计信号计数的方法。该方法集中于寻找关于信号的本质信息，而忽略关于本底的外来信息。找到了一种恰当的方法，其利用所得本底事件数不超过所得总事件数这一条件。探讨了几种备选途径。
