在干涉测量中，重建图像的质量取决于所使用的算法及其参数，用户常常需要比较若干算法的结果以区分伪像与天体物理对象的实际特征。由于这些软件包差异很大，此类比较可能迅速变得繁琐。OImaging 是一个图形界面，旨在作为图像重建软件包的统一前端。借助 OImaging，用户现在可在单一界面内执行多次重建。对于给定的数据集，OImaging 允许对不同图像重建算法进行基准测试，并评估图像重建过程的可靠性。为此，OImaging 使用了所提出的用于标准化与图像重建算法通信的 IMAGE-OI OIFITS 扩展。
