利用机器学习在 DECam 本地体积探测巡天中识别星系-星系强引力透镜候选体

我们使用应用于 DECam 本地体积探测巡天(DELVE)首次公开数据发布的成像数据的卷积神经网络(CNN)来搜寻星系-星系强透镜系统,该数据包含 5.2\sim 5.2 亿个天体源,覆盖 4000\sim 4000 deg2\mathrm{deg}^2 南天,达到 5σ5\sigma 点源深度 g=24.3g=24.3r=23.9r=23.9i=23.3i=23.3z=22.8z=22.8 mag。遵循使用 DECam 数据的类似搜寻方法,我们应用颜色和星等截断选出包含 1100\sim 1100 万扩展天体源的星表。在用 CNN 评分后,得分最高的 50,000 张图像被人工检视,并按 0(肯定不是透镜)到 3(极可能是透镜)的量表打分。我们给出 581 个强透镜候选体列表,其中 562 个此前未报道过。我们根据人工分配的分数对候选体分类,得到 55 个 A 级候选体、149 个 B 级候选体和 377 个 C 级候选体。我们还从样本中强调了八个潜在的四重透镜类星体。由于我们的搜寻区域位于北银冠(b>10b > 10 度)和南天半球(Dec.<0{\rm Dec.}<0 度),我们的候选列表与其他现有地基搜寻重叠很少。在搜寻区域与其他搜寻重叠处,我们发现大量此前未识别的高质量候选体,表明我们的方法具有一定正交性。我们报告了候选体的性质,包括由图像分离估计的视星等和爱因斯坦半径。
