摘要
Zipf定律意味着双曲型统计分布，它可以描述语言学中的稳定性与熵损失性质。我们提出了一个信息论，由此得出如果系统由双曲型分布描述，则会导致熵损失的可能性。我们给出了某些细菌（如Borelia burgdorferi和Escherichia coli）基因组中基因的重复次数。基因组中基因重复的分布似乎可由双曲型分布来表示。
