Vela X 高分辨率射电极化观测

摘要
我们报告对 Vela X（Vela 超新星遗骸）射电脉冲风暴的高分辨率 1.4 GHz 澳大利亚望远镜紧凑阵列极化观测结果。我们发现，线性偏振发射仅部分与总强度相关联。存在许多脱偏振特征，其中一些特征与前景 H-alpha 丝 filament 重合。进一步研究这些特征可提供有关遗骸外壳磁场的测量。
