HD219666b:一颗来自TESS第1扇区的热海王星

摘要

我们报告了一颗绕行年老且不活动的G7矮星HD219666(Mstar = 0.92 ± 0.03 MSun, Rstar = 1.03 ± 0.03 RSun, tau_star = 10 ± 2 Gyr)的凌星行星的确认与质量测定。HD219666b的质量Mb = 16.6 ± 1.3 MEarth、半径Rb = 4.71 ± 0.17 REarth、轨道周期P ~ 6天,是一类稀有系外行星——热海王星的新成员。凌星系外行星巡天卫星(Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, TESS)在其第1扇区观测了HD219666(亦称TOI-118),光变曲线显示出四次等时间间隔的凌星类事件。我们通过使用[email protected]获取精密视向速度测量确认了该候选体的行星性质。我们利用共加HARPS光谱推导了宿主星基本参数(Teff = 5527 ± 65 K, log g = 4.40 ± 0.11 (cgs), [Fe/H] = 0.04 ± 0.04 dex, log R'HK = -5.07 ± 0.03),以及多种挥发与难熔元素的丰度。宿主星亮度(V = 9.9)使其适于通过凌星光谱进一步表征。该行星轨道倾角以及大气金属-氢含量与热结构的测定,可为我们提供关于此类天体形成机制的重要线索。
