GRAVITY:用于窄角天体测量与干涉成像的VLTI四光束组合器

摘要

GRAVITY是第二代甚大望远镜干涉仪仪器,用于近红外(NIR)波段的精密窄角天体测量与干涉成像。它将提供约10微角秒的精密天体测量精度,以及几毫角秒分辨率级的成像能力,从而彻底改变对天体的动力学测量。GRAVITY目前正处于在加兴(Garching)的MPE进行集成与测试的最后阶段,将于2015年交付至VLT干涉仪(VLTI)。我们在此介绍该仪器,特别关注采用光纤的组件:集成光学光束组合器、偏振旋转器、光纤差分延迟线以及计量系统。
