GJ 238 b:轨道于一颗M2.5型恒星上以15.2 pc处的0.57 Earth半径行星

摘要

我们报告发现的穿越行星GJ 238 b,半径为 0.566±0.0140.566\pm0.014 R\oplus(约为火星半径的 1.064±0.0261.064\pm0.026 倍),轨道周期为1.74天。该穿越信号被TESS任务检测并指定为TOI-486.01。由于主机星靠近南天盒座极,TESS在观察南天天空时几乎可以连续观测。主机星为M2.5型恒星,V=11.57±0.02V=11.57\pm0.02 mag,K=7.030±0.023K=7.030\pm0.023 mag,距离为 15.2156±0.003015.2156\pm0.0030 pc,质量为 0.41930.0098+0.00950.4193_{-0.0098}^{+0.0095} M\odot,半径为 0.43140.0071+0.00750.4314_{-0.0071}^{+0.0075} R\odot,有效温度为 3,485±1403{,}485\pm140 K。通过排除或使每种虚假阳性情形几乎不可能,基于档案数据和地面跟踪观测来验证行星候选者。由于主机星的小尺寸和高适赤速度(892.633±0.025892.633\pm0.025 mas yr1^{-1}),验证工作得以进行。
