HAT-P-68b:一颗环绕 K5 型矮星的凌星热木星

摘要

我们报告地面 HATNet 巡天发现的凌星系外行星 HAT-P-68b,其质量为 0.724 ±\pm 0.043 MJupM_{Jup},半径为 1.072 ±\pm 0.012 RJupR_{Jup}。该行星以 P = 2.2984 天的圆轨道环绕一颗中等亮度(V = 13.937 ±\pm 0.030 星等)的 K 型矮星,恒星质量为 0.673 ++ 0.020 -0.014 MM_{\odot},半径为 0.6726 ±\pm 0.0069 RR_{\odot}。该系统的行星性质通过 FLWO~1.2m 望远镜的后续凌星测光、Keck-I/HIRES、FLWO~1.5m/TRES 和 OHP~1.9m/Sophie 测得的高精度视向速度,以及 WIYN~3.5m/DSSI 的高空间分辨率散斑成像得以确认。HAT-P-68 的黄道纬度为 +3+3^{\circ},处于 NASA TESS 主任务和 K2 任务的视场之外。其 0.036 星等(rr 波段)的大凌星深度使 HAT-P-68b 成为通过透射光谱进行大气表征的有前景目标。
