基于THGEM的低温两相氩雪崩探测器中盖革模式APD的性能

摘要
针对在稀有事件实验中的潜在应用,研究了基于THGEM的低温两相氩雪崩探测器中盖革模式APD(G-APD)的特性。低温下G-APD的信号幅度和噪声特性优于室温下的特性。已证明使用无波长位移器的G-APD能够有效探测两相氩中THGEM倍增孔洞的雪崩闪烁光。在雪崩增益为60时,G-APD测量的雪崩闪烁产额高达每雪崩电子0.9个光电子,外推至4π立体角。
