经典新星 V392 Per 的 γ 射线辐射:来自 Fermi 与 HAWC 的观测结果

摘要

本文结合 Fermi 伽马射线空间望远镜与 HAWC 观测站的观测,报道了 2018 年银河系新星 V392 Per 的 γ 射线特性,其光子能量覆盖约 0.1 GeV 至 100 TeV。在迄今观测到演化最为迅速的新星 γ 射线信号之一中,在 V392 Per 光学极大后的八天内探测到了幂律谱(谱指数 Γ = 2.0 ± 0.1)的 GeV γ 射线。HAWC 观测在此期间以及之前和之后对 TeV γ 射线信号给出了限制。我们未观测到 V392 Per 存在统计显著的 TeV γ 射线辐射证据,但给出了流量上限。将 Fermi/LAT 能谱延伸至 5 TeV 以上能量的检验被 2 个标准差(95%)或更高的置信度所排除。我们利用强子加速模型并结合光学观测对 V392 Per 的 GeV γ 射线进行拟合,并将计算结果与 HAWC 限制进行比较。
