基于 Gaia 支持的变星与自行巡天对一显著弱发射线类星体的重新发现

我们证明 VPMS J170850.95+433223.7 是一颗在多个方面都非同寻常的弱发射线类星体(WLQ)。它在二十年前已被分类为可能的类星体，但存在相当大的不确定性。来自 Gaia 早期数据发布 3 的不显著自行与视差巩固了这一假设。基于此前未发表的光谱，我们表明 VPMS J170850.95+433223.7 是一颗位于 z = 2.345 的 WLQ，其静止系紫外区的宽发射线微弱到无法测量。初步估计表明，它寄居着一个约 10^9 M_sun 的超大质量黑洞，吸积接近爱丁顿极限，或许处于超爱丁顿水平。我们识别出两个具有 0.05c 与 0.1c 蓝向速度偏移的吸收体系统，可能代表高速外流，这或许与该类星体的高吸积状态有关。
