FLAMINGOS-2:面向 Gemini 的设施级近红外宽场成像与多目标光谱仪

摘要

我们报告了 FLAMINGOS-2 仪器的设计与状态——这是一款为 Gemini 8 米望远镜开发的全冷却设施级近红外成像与多目标光谱仪。FLAMINGOS-2 采用折射全球形光学系统,提供 0.18 弧秒像素,覆盖 6.2 弧分钟直径的圆形场视野,采用 2048x2048 像素的 HAWAII-2 0.9-2.4 mm 检测器阵列。可切割/棚轮机制允许选择最多 9 个多目标激光加工板或 3 条长槽进行 6x2 弧分钟场视野内的光谱 spectroscopy,可选分辨率为 \sim 1300 到 \sim 3000 的可变型棱镜提供整个光谱覆盖。FLAMINGOS-2 还与 Gemini 多共轨自适应光学系统兼容,提供在 3x1 弧分钟场视野内的高空间分辨率(0.09 弧秒/像素)多目标光谱能力。我们审阅了光学、机械、电子、软件以及仪上波前传感器子系统的设计。我们还呈现了项目当前的状态,项目目前处于 2006 年中期最终测试阶段。
