SIMPLE暗物质搜索二期实验的初步结果

摘要
我们报告了使用总活性质量为0.208 kg的15个过热液滴探测器进行的14.1 kg·天测量的结果，这是30 kg·天二期实验的第一阶段。结合对中子自旋敏感的XENON10实验的结果，这些结果在弱相互作用大质量粒子 (WIMP)-原子核相互作用的自旋相关部分给出了 |a_p| < 0.32 (M_W = 50 GeV/c^2) 的限制，将先前由XENON、KIMS和PICASSO定义的相空间允许区域减少了50%。在自旋无关部分，在 M_W = 45 GeV/c^2 处获得了 2.3x10^{-5} pb 的限制。
