氩上相干弹性中微子-核散射的首次测量

摘要
我们报道了在橡树岭国家实验室散裂中子源使用液氩探测器对氩上相干弹性中微子-核散射(\cevns)的首次测量。两项独立分析均以大于的显著性偏好\cevns而非仅有本底的零假设。测得截面在入射中微子通量上平均值为(2.2 0.7) 10 cm——与标准模型预言一致。该结果的 neutron-number 依赖性,连同我们先前在CsI上的测量结果,证实了\cevns过程的存在,并对非标准的中微子相互作用给出了更严格的约束。
