长寿命离子束的快速激光冷却

摘要
讨论了储存环中长寿命离子束快速激光冷却的一些特殊性。在激光束与离子束部分重叠时，利用了离子与具有尖锐频率和几何边缘的宽带激光束的选择性相互作用。在此冷却方案中，离子束密度在相空间不同区域和不同时刻的变化率各不相同。因此，使用了适用于非指数冷却无限小相空间区域的广义 Robinson 定理来解释结果。
