摘要
介质对中子的吸收及其输运性质导致中子通量在穿入材料时下降,因为样品自身对中子的吸收使其通量在深入样品时衰减。本工作中,实验测定了铟、金、锌和汞的热中子自屏蔽因子。当前结果连同文献中的结果一起,用于验证一个基于积分截面参数的第一性原理数学公式,以比较我们的结果。这些不同来源数据间的完全一致性表明,将凸形材料中的中子迁移长度与数学模型中所描述的平均弦长相关联是有效的。
