我们测量了被囚禁玻色 - 爱因斯坦凝聚体相对于热云振荡时的阻尼运动。雪茄形的囚禁势提供了足够的横向约束，使得系统的动力学介于三维和一维之间。我们发现振荡持续时间比三维气体预期的要长。我们将此归因于横向动量态占据数的抑制，而这些态对于阻尼至关重要。
