摘要
当绝缘体 LaAlO3 通过生长沉积在绝缘体 SrTiO3 的 TiO2 端面 {100} 表面时，所形成的体系具有金属特性。该现象被关联到界面上的静电失衡，因为 SrTiO3 的 {100} 表面为中性，而 LaAlO3 的表面呈极化；但其微观机制尚不清楚。本文通过 aberration-corrected 透射电子显微镜对该界面进行结构表征。界面处的单元胞呈现拉伸变形：我们就这种畸变以界面静电电荷和额外载流子为依据进行讨论。
