零模与薄谱对原子玻色 - 爱因斯坦凝聚体寿命的影响

摘要
回顾了相关发展中提出的思想，本文研究了有限尺寸原子玻色 - 爱因斯坦凝聚体 (Bose Einstein condensates) 在相干、压缩相干和热相干基态下的基态寿命。研究了双势阱 (double well potential) 中相干态和压缩相干态的基态演化。讨论了薄谱 (thin spectrum) 对玻色 - 爱因斯坦凝聚体的影响，并计算了准粒子激发的寿命。结果表明，我们所使用的态对自由能的影响在热力学极限下消失。还讨论了向双势阱的可能扩展以及第二个对称性破缺的影响。
