迈向毫米波长相对论性暂态的有效路径

摘要

我们改进了通过倾斜脉冲前沿在铌酸锂中使用光学整流从0.1-1 THz频率(毫米波长)范围提取亚周期暂态的方法。我们的方案利用了先前未探索的泵浦脉冲的时空整形,仅使用mJ级光学ps脉冲,就在自由空间中产生了高效且近衍射极限的亚THz暂态,达到0.2 GV/m电场强度。我们从实验和理论上探讨了在适当光束约束和中等泵浦条件下产生高于GV/m的相对论性亚THz暂态的方法,从而为强场和非线性太赫兹应用与器件带来广泛可及性。
