具有非对称核心的畴壁与涡旋

摘要

我们回顾了关于一类具有非对称核心的拓扑缺陷的近期工作。它们产生于具有全局对称性的标量场理论中,畴壁的U(1)和涡旋的SU(2)分别被显式地破缺为Z_2和U(1)。后两者的对称性都是自发破缺的。在特定的参数范围内,两种缺陷解都被证明变得不稳定并衰变为已知的对称核心稳定壁和涡旋。
