158 A GeV 208Pb + 208Pb 碰撞中的直接光子产生

摘要
在 CERN WA98 实验中，对 158 A GeV 下 208Pb + 208Pb 碰撞中的直接光子产生进行了测量。给出了在 0.5 < p_T < 4 GeV/c 区间内作为横动量函数的直接光子不变产额或上限。在中心碰撞中，观察到 p_T > 1.5 GeV/c 处存在显著的直接光子过剩。结果与质子诱导的结果及理论预言进行了比较。讨论了其对高能重离子碰撞动力学的意义。
