在DWBA中计算了62Ni上的直接中子俘获，并给出了与s过程核合成相关的能量范围内的截面。证实了俘获截面的热值包含亚阈值共振贡献。与先前的研究相反，发现较高能量下的俘获由p波主导，从而在s过程能量下导致截面显著增加并改变了能量依赖性。
