球对称引力坍缩中临界指数对维度的依赖性

摘要

我们研究了非四维时空中球对称标量场坍缩成黑洞的临界行为。我们获得了维度在 3.5D143.5\leq D\leq 14 范围内的超临界区域中缩放指数的可靠值。临界指数单调增加,在大 DD 时趋近于渐近值 γ0.466\gamma\sim0.466。数据可以很好地用如下形式的简单指数函数拟合:γ0.466(1e0.408D)\gamma \sim 0.466(1-e^{-0.408 D})
