500 GeV/c π^- 核相互作用中 D*(2010) 的微分截面、电荷生产非对称性和自旋密度矩阵元

摘要
我们报告了来自 Fermilab E791 实验中 500 GeV/c π^- 核相互作用中 D*(2010) 生产的微分截面，作为 Feynman-x (x_F) 和横向动量平方 (p_T^2) 的函数。我们也报告了 D* +/- 电荷非对称性以及作为这些变量函数的自旋密度矩阵元。对自旋密度矩阵元的研究显示无极化证据。领先粒子和非领先粒子的自旋对齐平均值为分别为 \eta= 0.01 +- 0.02 和 -0.01 +- 0.02。
