Δ⁺⁺(1232)光生过程中自旋密度矩阵元的测量

摘要
我们利用杰斐逊实验室Hall D的GlueX实验,在光生反应γp → π⁻Δ⁺⁺(1232)中测量了Δ⁺⁺(1232)的自旋密度矩阵元(SDME)。测量使用了能量为8.2至8.8 GeV的线偏振光子束,在动量转移平方低于1.4 GeV²的区域,SDME的统计精度比之前的测量提高了三个数量级。这些数据对现有Regge交换模型中耦合常数之间先前未确定的相对符号敏感。提取的SDME的线性组合允许分解为自然和非自然交换振幅。我们发现非自然交换在低动量转移区域起着重要作用。
