T2K实验磁喇叭系统的研制与运行经验

摘要

为T2K实验研制了一套磁喇叭系统,其设计可在320 kA脉冲电流下运行,并承受750 kW高功率质子束运行。第一套T2K磁喇叭在2010年至2013年四年运行期间,在最大束流功率230 kW下运行了超过1200万脉冲,且有6.63×10206.63\times10^{20}个质子照射到生产靶上。此期间未观察到明显损伤。T2K磁喇叭的成功运行促使T2K实验于2013年发现了νμνe\nu_{\mu}\rightarrow\nu_e振荡现象。本文描述了T2K磁喇叭的设计、建造和运行经验的细节。
