T2K 复制靶的介子发射:方法、结果与应用

摘要

日本 T2K 长基线中微子振荡实验需要对初始中微子通量进行精确预测。基于对 T2K 所用相同靶材在相同 30 GeV 动能质子束照射下的强子发射进行详细测量,可达到最高精度。相应数据由 CERN SPS 的 NA61/SHINE 实验于 2007-2010 年间使用 T2K 石墨靶的复制品记录。本文介绍了实验细节、数据获取、数据分析方法及 2007 年试运行结果。此外,还描述并讨论了将 NA61/SHINE 测量结果应用于 T2K 初始中微子通量预测的情况。
